Web3 is the hottest topic in tech at the moment. But it’s more than just a fad or a buzzword. Web3 represents a permanent paradigm shift that is here to stay. Our culture, our society, our economy, and our technology will all be shaped by Web3. Why?
In short, because Web3 is the next era of the internet. But it’s also so much more than that. Web3 is built on blockchain technology, which allows for things that were never possible. Public access combined with individual ownership. Decentralized networks that are high functionality. Seamless cross-border payments. An incentive structure that works for the masses, not just a select amount of aggregators. And communities and ownership at the center of it all. The more you learn about Web3, the more you’ll become captivated by the possibilities.

The Web3 renaissance is inevitable, but we’re still in the early days. And product managers will play a critical role in unlocking and navigating this impending explosive growth. But many of us lack the confidence and connections to pivot into Web3 or product, the resources to grow our careers in this space, or the encouragement that can only come from a supportive community. Enter Web3PMs.
Our mission is to accelerate the development of Web3 by equipping product people with the skills, resources, and community to build for this new age. We envision a Web3PMs DAO, where each of us has ownership and control in shaping the most supportive and thriving community of PMs.

In the coming months, with the help of expert thought leaders and newcomers alike, we’ll be breaking down concepts like NFTs, DAOs, DeFi, and Blockchain. We’ll open a Discord, so you can communicate and network with other current and aspiring Web3PMs. We’ll create a job board and resources to help you make the shift to a Web3 project or full-time role. And we’ll provide exciting exclusive opportunities and early-access rights to our members.

We’re so excited to share Web3PMs’ first event, a conversation with Nemil Dalal, a Web3 PM and Head of Crypto, Coinbase. The event will be open to all Web3PM members and you will have the opportunity to ask Nemil any questions you have! A calendar invite with the registration details will be sent to all Web3PMs members (if you received this email directly, you are already member!)
